Eastern ribbon snake

the eastern ribbon snake is my favorite animal and the first snake I saw in the wild. they live in eastern north America and are diurnal. they are energetic and semi-aquatic. they are rear fanged, and their venom cannot harm humans. they eat small fish, amphibians, and some invertebrates. they are part of the family Colubridae. they are closely related to other species of ribbon snakes and to eastern garter snakes.
